Iris Art Centre in the countryside of Greece.
Executive Director Annette Luycx - facilitated delving deep accessing one’s inner artistic voice.
I marvelled at her process, with years of experience as art practice and teacher, deep care and consideration for individual needs and undertaking.

Artist Statement
The narrative of this triptych begins with the militarism of our time, a civilization mired in dictatorship, ownership, slavery, conflict, rule and rape dictating the destruction of MOTHER and all in the natural world. This truth I reflect on daily, the annihilation of all that is living, immense in our current reality.
The second panel of MOTHER, Mothering, wisdom, seeking truth, ancient old throughout the passage of time immemorial. Civilizations that honour and value the life giving and sustaining gifts of Mother and our Inherit ways to nurture, nourish and develope with deep respect and care.
The third panel is the result of love for MOTHER and all Her Beings. When seeds, birds, bees and butterflys are what we value. With dedication and committement to protect SHE, the waters, land and all habitat is held as a life contract. Our time here on Earth a blessing and opportunity, contributing to the generational offerings of respect and care.
